Cancellations and Refunds
AMI Intelligence is a prepaid, pay-per-use service. You top up a wallet in Indian rupees and calls are paid from it per connected minute. There is no subscription, no lock-in and nothing physical is shipped. This page explains what can be cancelled and what can be refunded. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Cancelling
- No subscription to cancel. You can stop using AMI at any time. Nothing is charged while you make no calls.
- Campaigns can be paused or stopped from the dashboard at any moment. Calls already connected are charged; calls not yet placed are not.
- Phone number rent, where it applies, is charged monthly in advance. Release the number from the dashboard to stop future months; the month in progress is not refunded.
- UPI Autopay (auto-recharge), if you set it up, can be cancelled from Settings in the dashboard or from your UPI app. No further automatic debits happen after cancellation.
- Closing your account: write to us (section 5) and we will close it and refund any unused wallet balance as described below.
2. Wallet balance refunds
- Unused wallet balance is refunded in full when you close your account, less any amounts owed (for example calls completed but not yet debited). Request it by email from the address registered on your account.
- We can also refund a specific top-up on request within 30 days of payment, provided the amount is still unused in the wallet.
- Refunds go back to the original payment method through Razorpay. We approve refunds within 7 business days of the request; banks and UPI apps then usually take 5 to 7 business days to show the money.
- Promotional or free trial credit is not refundable and has no cash value.
3. Call charges
A call is charged once it connects, based on its connected duration and the tariff shown in the app at the time. Connected calls are not refundable, because the telephony and AI costs are incurred immediately.
If a charge was caused by a fault on our side, for example a call billed as connected that never actually connected, or a duplicate charge for a single call, tell us within 7 days with the call ID from the dashboard. We investigate and credit the amount back to your wallet, or refund it if you prefer.
4. Failed, pending or duplicate payments
- If money left your bank account but the wallet was not credited, the payment usually failed at the bank or UPI stage. Razorpay and your bank reverse such amounts automatically, normally within 5 to 7 business days.
- If it has not been reversed after 7 business days, email us the Razorpay payment ID (from your bank or UPI app statement) and the date, and we will trace it with Razorpay.
- If a duplicate top-up went through, we refund the duplicate on request.
5. How to request a refund
Email midhunskumar2016@gmail.com from the email address registered on your AMI account, with:
- your account email,
- the amount and date of the top-up or the call ID in question,
- the Razorpay payment ID if you have it.
We reply within 7 business days with a decision. Approved refunds are processed through Razorpay to the original payment method.
6. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell customers by email or in the dashboard before they take effect.
